I would like to publicly congratulate all those involved in the recent production of “A Farndale Christmas Carol” on their nomination for an Adelaide Theatre Guide Curtain Call award as best comedy show for 2007/8.

The award nominees, announced on June 6, 2008, are drawn from the many theatre groups in Adelaide and near country areas.

How wonderful that a small, edge of the Barossa group has again been acknowledged as one of the best in the state. Well done, Kapunda.

I would especially like to congratulate my father, Don Arthur, as the director of the production. That it was his first time directing a play is even more noteworthy.
