 Nothing in the budget

Nothing in the budget

17/06/2008 6:20:00 PM
Recent letters in this newspaper berated Tony Piccolo for his apparent inaction for the electors of Gawler.

It would appear that the letters were well justified. There is nothing in the budget for the citizens of the Adelaide to Gawler strip.

We are condemned to the worst transport system in Australia for at least twelve years.

The treasurer says eight years but in government terms that really means twelve or more years.

Even though the opposition has nothing but negativity to offer, the electors of the area should adopt an “any one but Labor” attitude.

Our real problem is we are a safe Labor seat and the government knows it.
